Next Week's Show on Blogtalkradio

I am so excited that next week I will interview Joyce Lucas from Make Mine Pink on the Wednesday Lunch Bunch at 12:00 noon est on http://blogtalkradio.com/janetinky
On March 15, 2008, in Chicago, at the annual Country Living WE aftenoon, Joyce Lucas will recognized as one of Honorees of 2008's The Country Living Women Entrepreneurs.
She will join the other deserving Honorees on stage for accolades and a question and answer session.
All the Honorees are featured in the March issue of Country Living, currently on the newsstands.
Her her own words, Joyce says:"This year I am so proud to announce that I have been honored along with 9 other women, the "Country Living Women Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2008 ". Grateful for such an honor, I am also very humbled. It is because of the amazing group of women that collectively make up Make Mine Pink, that I have received this honor. I will proudly accept this honor for all of the members at MMP."
Joyce founded in Make Mine Pink 2004, from a personal need to find other like- minded women who, like herself , were struggling to not only get their businesses started, but to gain the recognition businesses needed to succeed. Not only did she create Make Mine Pink as an online shopping mall, but she added a forum for the business women to exchange ideas and build friendships. To read more about Joyce, check the March issue of Country Living, the Country Living website and especially check Make Mine Pink.

Blogtalkradio show for Wednesday March 12
Hello everyone. What a day this has been. If you heard my show you'll know that while I was doing my show I was also helping my grandmother change her clothes. I didn't have a guest even though I did get my grandmother to say hello on the show. What a blessing she is to me. I hope I am to her also.
Well here are the resources from today's show.

Spring is Coming

Today I was looking out the kitchen window and saw the most beautiful bird. It was sky blue with a rust chest and white belly. I asked my grandmother what it was and she said she had bird books to look them up in. We looked it up and it is an Eastern Bluebird that is starting it's migration. There was a male and female and we watched them for sometime before they flew away. It was such a special moment for me to look the bird up with my grandmother then watch the birds play.

Thank You Gifts -- Heart Sewing Kit
I've been trying to find a great thank you gift for my customers. I wanted something flat since most of my items can go in small boxes or envelopes. I've decided on these cute little sewing kits. I just make 2 hearts from craft felt and add some thread, needle, safety pins, and straight pins. They may not all look the same and may go through some iterations but each customer will get one.
