Love the yo-yo runner! Barbara
lovely runner..I too love making yo-yo's but have not done it for years...can you tel me what size circle have you been using...and what type thread....just want to get back into this hobby ....
Deby
Thank you so much for the comment. I used a music disk to cut the yo-yo's so when gathered they are about 2 inches round. I use quilting thread to gather and sew together. I do love my yo-yo's
wow have I been thinking about yo yo's could even invision say larger ones made out of flannel into a scarf.does that sound corny...also do yu double your quilting thread????
Thanks for writing me back...love these kind of things.
Deby
Yes, I double my thread. I am getting ready to make a quilt that will have the 2" yo-yo and a 1" yo-yo sew on top of the 2". So really it is double yo-yo's, I have also seen larger yo-yo and real mini ones too. Please send a picture when you have done some and I'll post on the blog or if you have a blog I'll cross promote.
Thank you for this post. Funny how the universe gives you what you need. I was looking for new direction and came to your site. You continue to be a source of inspiration.
