I have purchased some more of the darker pink and will use some white yo-yo's to finish the quilt. I sure takes a bunch of those little yo-yo's to make a baby quilt.
So get in line yo-yo's, it's time to make a quilt!
How to make a yo-yo
I use a cd - like a music cd to draw circles on fabric
Cut out the circles
Thread your needle with matching thread
Turn about 1/4 inch under to wrong side and stitch all around the circle
Pull the thread to gather
Tie off the thread
And Wala you have a yo-yo
Love the quilt idea, WALA is not a word. the term is voila (don't know where my accent key is) and it is French. Yo Yos rock! and I really don't intend any disrespect, rudeness, etc., just thought you might like to know.
